Cherish Your Friends

Friends are one of the biggest gifts you have in life. Yes, good old friends.

First, we make the connection by finding something in common. That usually is a shared passion of values and/or ideas of life.

We go through good and bad times. Some of the people we saw as friends stick around while others are slowly fade away at the first sight of difficulty. That is just a part of filtering through people to find those true souls that we want to share our lives with:)
Sometimes we choose another path and start growing in different directions. We try hard to bring those friends with us, but they often will disappoint us. As a result, we feel a big loss. That is something I’ve experienced several times in my life and I am sure many of you have as well. It’s hard to let it go and it’s difficult to accept that we lost someone special, just because we made the decision to grow in a different direction. However, it’s the right decision and a mature one at that!
While friends are very important, it’s human nature to move forward, to grow and want to succeed. Having friends that we look up to, that challenge us to be better and inspire us to be the best version of ourselves, is what we subconsciously search for. It’s OK to make space for new friends because they could be critical in the next chapter of our lives. Maybe even for the rest of our lives.

So, what I am saying is when you come across people that inspire you, people that love and help you grow, cherish those relationships like nothing else. Those relationships are the ones you need to invest your time and energy in. Those friends are the ones who will help you become the person you want to be. So, be careful and choose them wisely.
Love your friends and give them your best because they are your most valuable wealth!
Truly yours,
